NSP Supports NBC Today Show® Toy Drive Nature’s Sunshine has made a goal to become more active in helping to address health concerns around the world and here at home. We recently worked with the Direct Selling Association by participating in the NBC Today Show’s toy drive. This annual event benefits children and families across America with serious needs. Thirty-two DSA companies took part in the 2008 drive. Nature’s Sunshine donated nearly $26,000 worth of children’s vitamins, Nature’s Sweet Life® xylitol products and more. Nature’s Sunshine regularly negotiates with its raw material and packaging material suppliers and other vendors in order to provide the best prices possible on our premium-quality supplements. A great many of our suppliers have raised their prices in the past 12 months due to a variety of factors. In an effort to minimize the impact of this on our customers and members nationwide, and after months of discussions, NSP was able to limit our 2009 overall price increase to 2.4 percent. Over 110 products, including 20 of the top 100 sellers, will not see any price increase. In many cases, the increase is 40–60 cents per bottle. Please be aware that specific product lines or categories along with infrequently ordered products have experienced a larger increase. Some of these include vitamin C products and those that contain C as a key ingredient (like Nutri-Calm®), many Chinese herbs and our homeopathic remedies. The updated Master Price List included in this issue reflects the new pricing effective April 1, 2009.
