Coordinated Supply Planning (CSP) for Donors of Contraceptives

• Group formed to enable better coordination between UNFPA and USAID

• Purpose: Share information to reduce global supply risk for FP products through coordinated forecasting & supply planning

• Group includes –

– UNFPA

– USAID

– Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI)

– JSI through Implants Access Program (IAP) and the USAID | DELIVER PROJECT

• Provides web-based access to up-to-date contraceptive order & shipment information for more than 140 countries

• The most public record of global contraceptive donations & shipments

Coordinated Assistance for Reproductive Health Supplies (CARhs) Group

• Group working to assist countries in preventing/managing supply crises

• Meets monthly to review/address supply issues:

– Initiate emergency shipments

– Expedite or postpone existing shipments

– Facilitate product transfers between countries

– Provide updated information on shipments/orders

• CARhs members –

– UNFPA, USAID, RH Supplies Coalition, USAID │DELIVER PROJECT, WAHO, IAP, CSP, CHAI, FP2020, GHSC-PSM
