What actually is SWEAT???

Sweat is a watery fluid produced and excreted by our sweat glands. It is also called perspiration & diaphoresis.

WHAT IS THE ADDRESS OF SWEAT???

As we know sweat comes from the sweat glands, but what are they?Sweat glands are tubular glands present almost everywhere in our body. We have two types of sweat glands- Eccrine and Apocrine.

types of GLANDS…..APOCRINE GLANDS ECCRINE GLANDS

They are found in our underarms.They are larger in size.They are associated with the hair follicles & open at the hair follicles.They produce a thick fluid, which in contact with bacteria on the skin’s surface, produces a characteristic potent "body odor". 

They are found almost everywhere on our body.They are smaller in size.They are not associated with anything and have an independent opening.They secrete a clear fluid which is odorless.
