Thea-Tex Healthcare (India) Pvt Ltd is a leading manufacturer and pioneer of Medical, Hygiene and Industrial nonwoven products. The core product range comprises: Surgical Masks, Particulate Respirators (N95), Adult Diapers, Bedpads/Underpads, Surgical Caps, Nonwoven Shoe Covers and Gowns.
The unique company name is an amalgamation of the two words, THEAtre and TEXtiles. Incorporated at the Registrar of Companies Mumbai in 2004, Thea-Tex commenced commercial production in early 2005 and has quickly grown to one of India's leading nonwoven convertors.
Thea-Tex is located at the famous industrial hub of Vasai, Maharashtra, which is in close proximity to the commercial capital of India, Mumbai and is well serviced by ports (sea/air), national highways and reputed logistics providers.
The sophisticated air conditioned manufacturing facility covering more than 50,000 square foot at the newly constructed, CIDCO approved Anand Mangal Industrial Estate, meets the highest level of international quality and hygiene standards.
The hi-tech automated production lines comprise the latest Taiwanese ultrasonic converting machines. Thea-Tex houses more than 25 machines with an installed daily capacity of more than 1,000,000/1 Million pieces.
The workforce exceeding 150 people is managed by a close knit, loyal and core team which is Directed by professionals specialising in engineering, finance, technical textiles and healthcare.
In 2013-14, Thea-Tex in collaboration with their joint venture partners from Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu will commence manufacturing Adult Diapers and Underpads, on the latest Italian technology with an installed capacity of 5 Million pieces per month. The products will be exclusively distributed by Thea-Tex in India.
Thea-Tex is an ISO 9001 certified company with the British Standards Institute since 2006, and follows the quality management system meticulously. The products with European and US certification are widely exported to ASEAN countries, South America, Europe, South Africa, Australasia and the Middle East.
Domestically, as well as promoting our own in house brands, FILTRA (Masks), PROTECTOR (Underpads) and FREEDOM (Adult Diapers), Thea-Tex supports nearly 300 brands and is predominantly an OEM/Private Label manufacturer with clients in each state of India, spanning the entire Geography of the country.
