DESCRIPTION
TraumaCare is a state of the art, nominally priced medical service. Users of the service will be charged a nominal annual rate. In exchange, they will be issued a NFC enabled smartcard, incorporated with their unique bar code. This barcode, when scanned would give access to the users entire health history, such as prescriptions, blood group, previous illnesses, allergies, etc. which would help save precious minutes in trauma situations. This would especially be useful in a country like India, where there is a scarcity of ambulances and external conditions make the reaction times of these ambulances slower than international standards. The card would also hold the contact information of the patient’s General Physician and help save tens of thousands of rupees in terms of the number of superfluous duplicate tests it would reduce. More importantly, it’ll help save lives of those who need immediate attention. TraumaCare is really the way forward because it provides its customers with an easy to use service that fits into their wallets without burning holes in them. As mentioned, the defining feature of the product would be the fact that the NFC enabled smartcard could be scanned to enlist the patients medical history, unlike any other medical service in India. The product would initially be rolled out in the top 4 metros in India, but will gradually be nationally integrated into all parts of the country.
