The womb twin kids project is much needed. parents don't know how to talk to their children about their lost twin and the children concerned don't know what to think or believe. The project is intended to make things clearer for everyone.

Why a Womb Twin Kids project?

Young womb twin survivors need to know about their twin:

A twin who died close to birth A stillborn twinA “vanishing twin” pregnancyA fetus in fetu or parasitic twin

Children want to talk about their twin with their parents or extended family

Many womb twin survivors have a lifelong sense of being a twin

Mentioning the twin does not hurt the child

The sense of something missing is already there

Feelings can be expressed and given meaning

Parents find it hard to talk about:

The death of one of their twin babies is their loss too

A sensitive and personal issue for everyone

They believe that it is best for the child not to know
