We all have choices. Yes, including yourself! How do you want 2014 to be? What changesdo you want to have in your life? What goals do you want to realize? Do you know whatyour purpose is for 2014?
Maybe you have been wanting to achieve a goal and have never been able to plan it or makeit a reality. Maybe you have been scared to take the first step. Maybe you have been "toocomfortable" in the place you are now, but have started to feel uncomfortable. Maybe youwant to become a better you!
Because the new year is an opportunity to embrace a new beginning, new opportunities, andtransform challenges into opportunities, I will be facilitating a workshop that can transformyour life for the better. It is called Live with Purpose and Realize your Goals in 2014 and itwill be offered at The Center for Transforming Lives in Miami, Florida.
It can transform your life because you will be making choices on how you want theupcoming year to be. I will give you tools to make it happen, still, it will be YOU who isgoing to take action. It is a matter of wanting to do it. As Napoleon Hill says in his book"Think and Grow Rich" the first step to achieve something is Desire. Do you want thischange to happen? So, you can make it happen!

Ligia obtained her B.A. from the University of Miami in Psychology andReligious Studies and a Masters Degree in Religious Studies andGerontology from Florida International University. She also has a graduatecertificate in Loss and Healing from St. Thomas University, a certificate inThanatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Grief Counseling.Besides being a speaker, she is an author, coach, counselor and consultant.She is an adjunct professor of Kaplan University, Florida InternationalUniversity and Miami Dade College where she teaches courses on Ethics,Religion and Death and Dying. Ligia is the author of the selfhelp book in Spanish Transforma tu perdida.Una antologia de fortaleza y esperanza. The English version, Transformyour Loss. An Anthology of Strength and Hope, will be available soon.This book contains "The Eleven Principles of Transformation™" which is asystem that involves the emotional, spiritual, and cognitive aspects of theperson as they face a transition or loss. Ligia created this system oftransformation to help people transform their losses and change their lives.
Her last book is "Counseling Hispanics Through Loss, Grief &Bereavement. A Guide to Mental Health Professionals."
