Age2Related Instructions: For non&breast&fed babies under 1 year old: Use a fluid like Pedialyte or your child’s regular formula. For breast&fed babies: Breastfeed on one breast for 2 minutes every 10 minutes. If your child doesn’t throw up after 3F4 feedings, increase to 4F5 minutes of feeding every 10F15 minutes. For children over 1 year old: Options for rehydration include: Pedialyte or other rehydration solution Rehydration1solution popsicles 10 saltine1type crackers plus 8 ounces of half1strength juice (4 ounces of juice mixed with 4 ounces of water). Do not use full1strength juice and “ade” drinks like Gatorade. They have too much sugar in them ________________________________________________ Approved by Patient/Family Education Committee The information presented is intended for educational purposes only.
