Major Features
Regular hospitalization expenses for Individual as well
as Floater basis for illness/disease/accidental injuries.
Offers cover for Tier I and Tier II locations in India
(Tier-1 places means those places where the population as per census 2011 is between 5,00,000 and
10,00,000. Tier-2 places means those places where the population as per census 2011 is less than
5,00,000).
Trial in two districts in Tamil Nadu

Eligibility
• Entry Age 18 yrs to 65 yrs. Children can be covered from 2
years along with parents.
• Beyond 65 years, only renewal
• No Exit Age
• Policy available on Individual Basis as well as on Floater
Basis.
• Floater policy available for Self, Spouse and dependant
children up to 25 years of age.

No pre-acceptance medical screening
• Sum Insured Options
Only one single sum insured Rs.1,00,000/-

Coverage
• Room Rent Limit – Upto 0.75% of sum insured either
Private room or shared accommodation
• ICU Limit – Upto Rs.2000/- per day subject to maximum of
Rs.10,000/- per hospitalisation.
• Surgeon, Anesthetist, Medical practitioner, Consultants,
Specialist Fees

Coverage
• Emergency ambulance charges up-to a sum of Rs.500/-
per hospitalization and overall limit of Rs.1000/- per policy
period
• Pre hospitalisation : Medical expenses incurred upto 30
days prior to hospitalisation.
• Post hospitalisation : Medical expenses up to 60 days
subject to a maximum of 7% of hospitalization expenses or
Rs.3000/- whichever is less

Special Features
• Hospital cash benefit will be paid at the rate of One
Thousand Rupees per day of hospitalization, subject to a
maximum of 14 days, where the treatment was taken in
Government Hospital. This will be paid only for covered
surgeries done as in-patient, whether any claim is made on
indemnity basis or not.

Uterine Fibroid Embolisation, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy,

such other similar therapies.
• Naturopathy Treatment, unconventional, untested/unproven,
experimental therapies
• Stem cell Therapy and related transplantation, Chondrocyte
Implantation, Immunotherapy, Oral Chemo Therapy
• Non allopathy treatments
