New gTLD Subsequent Procedures Discussion Group

GNSO-driven Review •  The GNSO developed the base set of policies for the last

round of new gTLDs. Current process is to determine whether we need to add new policies or change policies.

First Step: Issue Identification

•  The “Discussion Group” is a prelude to the normal GNSO policy develop process. We are developing the issues that will form the basis for any GNSO-initiated policy development work.

• Final report submitted to Board and recommends: o  Adopting 65 metrics

o  Deleting 5 metrics

o  Adding one metric on name collisions
