ASSIGNMENT 6: INITIAL IDEAS

TYPE OF MUSIC VIDEO

• My music video will be a mix of narrative and performance. I will achieve this by constantly cutting from my narrative to my performer singing.

SONG CHOICE

• The song I have chosen is ‘three wise men’ by James Blunt. I think this is a good song choice as it’s a fairly slow song so it will be easy to lip sync and also the lyrics aren't too specific, which allows us to have more variety when deciding on a narrative.

LOCATIONS

• I am thinking of using a variety of different locations in my music video. I have not thought of a specific one though yet all though I will make sure whatever I chose is achievable and realistic before I choose it.

COSTUME

• I will dress my person in fairly indie clothes with things such as skinny jeans and maybe a shirt or a casual t shirt with a jacket over the top.

LIGHTING

• I will get hold of some lighting equipment as I am thinking of doing a a part of the video in a dark room but I must have good lighting for the audience to be able to see the performer.
