Make Her Want You

There’s a lot of misinformation and conflicting information out there online about dating and the best ways to meet women. That’s why the Matchmakers and Dating Experts at LUMA got together to come up with the top two characteristics we see in almost every man who is very successful with the ladies. These are easy, but often overlooked tips you can incorporate into your daily routine to significantly increase success in your dating life.

RESILIENCY I recently was listening to one of these Harvard Business Review books and there was a long discussion about the primary indicator of people’s ability to be successful is their ability be resilient. It’s not how hard they worked, how smart, or well-bred, but how strong their conviction to overturn a bad situation and make a comeback. Resiliency is a character trait necessary to develop and build into your life… and it’s directly related to Perseverance. It’d be extremely difficult to continue pursuing your ideal lady if you let every little rejection undermine your confidence and get under your skin. So don’t let it. This is actually pretty easy—much easier than persistence with meeting women—you just need to treat it as business. Your new side business is to meet & date women until you find the one you’re completely happy with. There are many extenuating circumstances that can cause a business transaction to fail, circumstances that have absolutely nothing to do with the seller. When a woman rejects you, it may have nothing to do with you, but all to do with her and much of the time they won’t give the exact reason. She may already be in a relationship, she may be just getting out of one and is not ready to date, she may have just had something personal happen that put her in a bad mood (anyone approaching at this moment is getting the axe). The point is, more often than not, a rejection has less to do with you and more to do with her and her circumstances. There is no need to get bent out of shape; treat it like business and move on. It’s her loss.

PERSEVERANCE Women love a guy who’s worth his salt and is tenacious. Listen up if you have a history of giving up easily or blaming others. The days of asking one girl out and getting discouraged if she says no and then being anxious about approaching women for the next month or more are over. I want you to set a target number of women to meet (a good starting number is 25 per week) and go out and meet that number. Even if only 1/5th of the women you approach says yes, you still have set yourself up with 5 new women to date. The number will likely be much higher, 1/3 or even ½ isn’t out of the question.

Trust me. Women want attention and they want guys to ask them out. They’re waiting for you. The key is to do it naturally and not be creepy. Practice chit chat at any opportunity you get whether it’s in the check-out line or the random person sitting near you at the coffee shop. Being friendly and flashing a smile is a great way to ease your way into a conversation. This type of determination is something you will have to constantly remind yourself of by keeping it in the front of your mind at all times, but this is a trait you can turn into a habit in a relatively short amount of time. Not only will this help your love life, but another benefit of practicing this is it will help you in other areas of life as well such as professional and with friends and family. There you have it.
