10 Branding Ideas for Your Next Event

1. PRESS WALLS & BACKDROPS

Press walls and backdrops are a fantastic way of showcasing your logo and any sponsors’ logos in an entrance area or on a stage where there is going to be photographers or viewing guests.

These act as an initial touch point to your brand, event or cause. Also if photographs are going to be taken there is the potential these may be printed in the press or shared online, which increases your exposure.

2. LARGE LOGOS

As your are putting on a corporate event your logo will need to play a big roll in strategically chosen area throughout your event space. Logos can be used in entrance spaces, by lifts or outside rooms to help people find their way into different spaces.

Your logo can be produced to almost any size and can be used to great effect when scaled to a large size like the one we did for Sky News.

3. STAGE BACKDROP

If you are using a stage at your event you may want to think about how it can be altered it to suit you.

At Vi we offer a stage wrapping service that creates an effective backdrop to any stage presentation, interview or Q&A session.

We wrap an existing stage in a self-adhesive vinyl, which has been printed with your design and once you are done it can be taken down without causing damage.

4. FLOOR GRAPHICS

It is common that when people think about branding graphics, they imagine applying stickers to windows and walls. While this is true and accurate we can’t for get about the floor!

Floor graphics can be very helpful at guiding delegates through event spaces and leading them effectively to where they want to be.

All out floor graphics can be produced in any shape and colour and are made from a high adhesive vinyl that is laminated in a non-slip laminate to avoid any accidents.

5. FOAM BOARDS

Foam boards are a very versatile method of branding a temporary space with the added benefit that you can reuse them!

Foam boards can be printed with any design and cut to most shapes. Foam board comes in a variety of thicknesses starting at 5mm, which can be applied to walls or surfaces using double-sided tape or Velcro.

However, if you don’t want to risk the walls you can place thicker foam boards in feet to enable them to stand up.

6. DISPLAY UNITS

Display stands have a lightweight frame, which is simple to build and pack down on site.

The graphics themselves arrive separately with magnetic backing which makes them super simple to build.

These are great as manned points that you can use to engage with your guests or showcase a specific item, creating an obvious waypoint for people to engage with.

7. POP-UP BANNERS

Popup banners are another lightweight solution that can be used time and time again.

They can be used to display information, branding or as way-finding to help guide people to the places they need to be.

Our pop-up banners are available in either 85cm or 120cm wide, however other sizes are available on request.

8. WAY FINDING

If you are using part of a conference or event centre you will need to think about how you effectively guide delegates around the building to ensure that they can easily find various elements of your event. In general, the graphics used to direct people is called way-finding and this is available in different forms.

As we have already seen you can use floor graphics and pop-up banners to help educate people on where they need to go, but we also offer directional arrows and custom text.

This can be used to guide people to rooms, toilets and another significant area within the event space. Making sure people know where things are is crucial to a successful event.

9. REMOVABLE WALL MURALS

We are able to take any high res images and blow it up to the size of your wall. We produce murals in strips like wallpaper, which means no wall is too big, although the size is dependant on image quality.

Our wall murals are available in a variety of different materials including brick wraps, which means almost any surface can be covered for your event.

10. EXTERNAL GRAPHICS
