Findings
In the production of maize USA stands first with the production of 27,38,32,130 MT (31.4%) in 2012, while India is at sixth position in the production of maize.
USA is the leading country in the export of maize and having 34.52 % of Share in world.
Japan is the major maize importing country with 1,48,92,920.00 MT of quantity in 2012.
India export 39.28 % of maize to Viet-Nam from its total production.
Conclusions
USA is the Leading country in Production and Export of maize .
India makes an export 2.85 % of maize from its total production.
India makes only 0.03 % of export of maize to the Japan.
