Bruce Acacio led Infinite Wins Insurance Application ContractInfinite Corporation, a global Software and Services Provider headed by Bruce Acacio, has announcedtoday that it has been awarded a contract to migrate a large insurance application in use by over 700companies.This contract was awarded to Bruce Acacios team after the conclusion of several studies that comparedthe Infinite I solution against proposals from several global services companies. In the contract, Infinitewill migrate an application that includes over 7 million lines of code. The application is written in RPGfor the IBM I (AS/400) environment and will be migrated to multiple open platforms that includeLinux and AIX and the Oracle database.Infinites team has concluded a competition after which they were awarded the contract to migrate aninsurance application from AS/400 to multiple open platforms. The client, a major software companyspecializing in financial services applications, required that its insurance application be migrated toboth Linux and AIX operating systems and the Oracle database. 2. The migrated application will be offered in a new version of the software that will be offered as anupgrade to the current version operating only on the AS/400.
