Craig Kielburger was born on December 17, 1982 in Thornhill, Canada.

His parents are Fred and Theresa Kielburger.

Motivation

Craig wanted to stop child labour. when he was 12 years old he saw a newspaper heading saying that a 12 year old boy named Iqbal Masih was killed because he was fighting for no child labour since he was forced to work at a carpet factory at the age of 4.

Trials

Craig wanted to talk to the Prime Minister of Canada Jean Chretien about stopping child labour but got denied.

Help

Yes, Craig did get help by many people such as Alam Rahman, Jean Chretien after Craig did a press conference saying that the Prime Minister had a moral responsibility to take action on child labour, Oprah Winfrey's Angel Network, his brother Marc Kielburger, Oprah Winfrey herself, Richard Gere, Jane Goodall, and Desmond Tutu.

Lesson Learned

You can learn determination from Craig Kielburger's work because he worked till the end trying to end something that was wrong in the world that got him mad.

Represents

Craig represents my definition of heroism because he has courage to do something what's right in the world and he is greatly admired for what he did to stop child labour.

Craig Kielburger functioned as a hero by investigating what child labour was, talked to hundreds of reporters saying that the prime minister should come in board with him, and wrote a book exposing child labour and what it was like.

Craig is not a person who doesn't back down, doesn't show fear, he is not afraid to tell something, and shows a little problem can go a long way.

Qualities

Jason from the Lost Hero is brave because he was trying to fight a huge monster that might have destroyed the world and that takes a lot of bravery to do.

Craig Kielburger did a lot of hard work to try to end child labour.
