INTRODUCTIONWater Week Latinoamérica provides a unique platform for sharing experiences and practices among the scientific, business, political and civic societies.

The focus is on new thinking and positive action associated to water-related challenges and their impact on the environment, health, climate, economy and community.

• To explore and propose concrete solutions and answers to water-related challenges in society, environment and economy by linking best practices, scientific knowledge, policies and decision making.

• To promote proactive partnerships and alliances among differently specialized organizations.

• To emphasize innovative research, best practices and policy creation by various stakeholders and multidisciplinary experts worldwide.

• To focus on Latin America with respect and consideration to the differences and similarities between regions in terms of the phase of development, political systems and climatic conditions.
