WW1 Conditions

● World War 1 was a terrible battle. The conditions were terrible. It was not a nice time for either armies. The trenches were full of rats and there was mud and dirt every where!

Trenches

● In the trenches you were lucky to even get a good nights sleep. Rats would eat your food, and there would be shelling all night! It was also common back then to get cholera and trench foot.

No-Mans-Land

● In No-Mans-Land the conditions were horrible. There was dead bodies every where and there was barb wire, dirt, rats and shells. You could only imagine what there was out there.

Wounds

● The wounds in the battle were crazy! Lots of men from both armies were dying. There were bodies with no arms and legs and men got their heads blown off! It was all so stupid and crazy!

Food

● Food was very scarce back then. Rats were actually everywhere! There was not much food. The conditions of food for the soldiers was not good.
