BUILD UP AN EFFECTIVE PROOF PROVIDING PRESENTATION• Make your presentation solution oriented where you can• Create relevance for every new piece of info before you say or show it• Make sure your visual is no ‘overload’. Make it simple or animate• Draw attention with questions and stories (tell them in direct speech)• Stick to your structure• Make sure listeners ‘see’ the structure• Park questions that are out of scope

10. RUN AN EFFECTIVE Q&A• Invite your audience to ask questions

• Prepare a rethorical question to launch the Q&A yourself if needed

• If you don’t know, say so. Never lie.

• If a question makes your nervous, don’t answer straight away. Buy some time and

ask for more details

• Probe closed questions if you suspect they hide an opinion

• When being ‘yes but-ed’ followed by opinion, ask for examples or details before
