Identified Problem

Although Many claim America to be a post racial society, many people still judge and stereotype others based upon their skin color through daily conversations.

Observations

Many individuals in this country can’t see past an individuals outer appearance, whether it be darker skin color, or different hair composition. Because of this many continually make remarks based on those outer appearances, failing to recognize the individuals identity beyond physical traits.

Observations

People continually use the terms “whiter than” or “blacker than” to distinguish if a member of the race doesn't fit the mold of the casted stereotype.

Continually making note of a person’s difference in society and only making conversation because of their unique background is both ignorant and disrespectful
