Design action plan: Make a plan for connecting Red Hook to the rest of New York; analyze and illustrate future solutions; name time frame, commitments, roles and responsibilities

Presentation to ‘Urban Experts’

Existing solutions for improving transport include: •  Running van services on defunct bus routes •  Subway upgrades and expansions •  Ferry routes/ bike corridors •  Disruptive technologies? Which innovations are missing?

Key question:

Imagine: You are a business owner living in Red Hook and you want to get rid of your car. You also want to attract patrons who have no car but want to come to your facility in Red Hook. How are you going to connect Red Hook to the rest of the city to make it a vital part of New York?
