WHAT IS DRAMA?

A drama is story enacted on stage for

a live audience.

ORIGIN OF DRAMAS

The word drama comes from

the GREEK verb dran which

means “to do”.

The earlist known play were

written around the fifth century B.c.

Pakistan is a Muslim country and Pakistani culture is the unique pattern of belief, ideas, values highly influenced by religion of Islam.

Islam in Pakistan sets the code of ethics for the cultural life for the people of Pakistan. But People gained western and Indian culture due to acculturations modernization and westernization.

Improve Pakistani media and set standards to stop other culture

PromThere should be a committee who will control the programs aired by satellite TV channels.

The programs should not be telecasted which is hazardous for our culture.

Our local drama serials have to be made more attractive that can avert our viewers both male and female from watching foreign daily soaps.

Awareness has to be raised among people about the long term impacts of foreign drama serials on our social system.

Viewers should realize that foreign society and pakistani society is not same. So they should stop following their life style.
