Firstly, can we thank everyone for your support during 2013, we had an amazing year and we are in the process of adding it all up to see the total amount raised and to see how it can be used to enhance the facilities at school for our children. To keep you updated, we raised a huge amount of money with the Fire Service and Santa and we hope that everyone enjoyed seeing Santa around the villages; the total amount raised was £1586 which is shared between the Fire Service and the FSA. Our School Christmas Disco also raised £751 which again, is amazing and we would like to thank everyone involved and the local businesses for providing raffle prizes. Without the volunteers of the FSA and the support of our wonderful community, none of this would be possible. We thank you again and we look forward to providing events that the community can enjoy, details of these events will be provided over the coming months. Make a neighbourhood order. Make a community right to build. It establishes general planning policies for the development and use of land in a neighbourhood, such as where new homes and offices should be built, and what they look like, protecting open ground. We need 6 - 8 persons to form a steering group under the umbrella of the Parish Council to develop a neighbourhood plan for Woodford Halse. We already have the parish plan to build on. This project could take 2 years but it needs people with time and commitment to the village to shape the village for the years ahead - is this you?
