TEAM SALES TRAINING, SAILING
Objective
• Our unique approach to cross company sales improvement:
– Using our 5 forces model,
– we will energise multiple elements of your company - to build a better sales system and platform for growth
• fun, cross company, set of exercises that embed learning
Outcomes
• Some areas we explore include:
– How Sales interacts with Marketing and how it can be improved
– The role of forecasting and how to improve its impact internally, without reducing customer facing time
– How to match your selling style, to the customer’s buying style
Why Sailing
• A large element of this course is team building and on a sailing boat the real person is on show
• On a sailing boat the distractions of the office are gone
• On a sailing boat you are immersed in the exercise for 48 hours for a full learning experience

How: the team
One (or more) people to represent each of the 5 forces:
• The sales force
• The internal customer (sales ops/ mgt/finance)
• The real customer
• Sales enablement (marketing/ pre-sales)
• The product/ service (operations)

• Team building
• Exercises – aka “Top Gear” envelopes– During the two days, short tasks will be run, on a
simulated case study.
– Following each one, we will explore how the case study applies in your business

• Cost from £1200 per person for 2 days, and 2 nights.
• Location: The Solent, West coast of Scotland, Greece, Croatia
• We want to avoid any chance of nasty weather, it is not a sailing course!
• Number of people– Between 4 and 8
– Potential for up to 16 with appropriate notice
