• Kate: Baloney!! You’’re just tryin’ to be a bimbo. Just because they had hooch at a speakeasy mean you can drink giggle water.

• Lexy: I don’t want to drink giggle water it’ll make me upchuck, besides I’ll be a star in a movies.

• Kate: Let me guess; you’ll be the cat’s meow drinking joe.

• Lexy: Naw it’ll be about a palooka fighting a flyboy for a Moll. But she said “Sorry Boys, the bank’s closed!

Slang Meanings• Baloney - nonsense!

• Bank's Closed - no kissing or making out - i.e. - "Sorry, Mac, the bank's closed.

• Bimbo - a tough guy

• Bump Off - To murder, To kill

• Cat's Meow - Something splendid or stylish; similar to bee's knees

• Copacetic - Wonderful, fine, all right

• Dumb Dora - a stupid female

• Fly boy - a glamorous term for an aviator Giggle Water - An intoxicating beverage

• Hooch - Bootleg liquor

• Joe- for coffee

• Moll - A gangster's girl

• Palooka- a below-average or average boxer

• Real McCoy - The genuine article

• Take for a Ride - To drive off with someone • in order to bump them off

• Speakeasy - An illicit bar selling bootleg liquor

• Upchuck - To vomit when one has drunk too much

• You slay me - that's Funny
