#9 Scrumptious country cookinʼ breakfast will delight your entire family! Cartoon Café is a short, pleasant walk from your campsite. Full breakfast is served Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday Mondays. If you like free food, itʼs a great idea to come camping during the week at Jellystone Park. Cartoon Café serves a FREE breakfast of piping-hot pancakes and coffee, Monday through Thursday in July (excluding July 5). During June and August, we go one step further in making your vacation a treat. During these months, enjoy free pancakes and coffee delivered to your site Monday through Thursday. Where else in the world is room service free? Every Saturday night, visit Cartoon Café for Dinner and a Movie, where you can enjoy a delightful film perfect for your whole family. Check out the $5 meal deals. Directions: go past the Ranger Station about 200 yards. Cartoon Café is the first big building on your right.

Pool and Water Zone Jellystone Park is the only campground in Van Buren, Missouri, with a swimming pool, and the only resort on the Current River with a splash play area! Enjoy these free amenities as much as you want during your vacation. Yogi Bearʼs Water Zone is just what your kids want on a summer day. They can play in refreshing water sprays, get soaked by a bucket of water and shoot their friends with the harmless Water Laser. Best of all is the Downpour Derby. The kids pump water into buckets, trying to be the first to soak their opponent with a deluge of water (see picture on title page).

Free Activities The best things in life are free -- at least at Jellystone Park! Every day of your summer vacation, enjoy those things that make Jellystone Park, Van Buren, MO unique. Your family will have great fun getting soaked on water hey-rides, beautifying your nails at the Cindy Bear™ Nail Salon, doing fun crafts, and playing bingo!

Hereʼs an example of the fun on a Saturday at Jellystone Park: Start your day off with the free Hey Ride to the 10:00 am flag raising with Yogi Bear. Then, compete in an event unique to the weekend theme. At 1:00 p.m., everyone can join in a game of bingo. At 5:00 p.m., enjoy another great themed weekend event. At 6:00 p.m., look for free crafts for all ages. Enjoy a water hey-ride at 7:00 p.m. Head up to Dinner and a Movie at 7:30 p.m., and while you watch the movie, the kids can rock the Guitar Star Tournament in the arcade at 8:00 p.m. Next, Tie-Dye your own shirt for free. The entire day is full of fun!

For your convenience, you will receive an activity list when you check in. Remember this: if the kids are eight years or older, they can attend most activities by themselves, freeing up plenty of time for you to relax.

#6 Featuring more than just video games, the arcade is on the left side of Cartoon Café. In addition to fun video games, air hockey and a pool table, your family can enjoy cup stacking, board games, books, a play kitchen, and a building block table. Plus, every night you can make a Groovy Tye-Dye creation. If you bring your own shirt, tye-dye is free! If you donʼt have a white shirt, no problem. At the arcade you can buy a blank T-shirt or a white one with Yogi Bear designs. Plan to visit the arcade every night during your vacation, itʼs open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night.

If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them. Sign up to float with The Landing at the Ranger Station.

Airbrush Tattoos

Enhance every day of your familyʼs vacation by coloring T-shirts, getting realistic airbrush tattoos, painting a ceramic, having your face painted and much more. The mining sluice, crafted from rustic timber, is shaded by the large oak next to the Ranger Station. Make family memories at the new 9 hole miniature golf course. First, visit the Ranger Station to get your putters and balls. If you have an All Stay Wristband, itʼs free, and if you donʼt, mini golf is just $3 a game.

Tuck ins and Birthday Parties What better way to end the day than with milk and cookies delivered by Yogi Bear himself? For your convenience, Yogi Bear does tuck ins Saturday-Thursday nights from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for just $20. A Yogi Bear tuck in will be a delightful surprise for your children. Just tell a ranger in the Ranger Station when you arrive at Jellystone Park.

Wondering how to make your childʼs birthday extra special? Yogi Bear birthday parties are an unforgettably fun experience. Yogi Bear will visit your campsite, bringing balloon animals and a special gift just right for the birthday boy or girl. In fact, a Yogi Bear birthday party is a great surprise for the young at heart as well. At just $20, a Yogi Bear birthday party is a great value. Stop by the Ranger Station when you arrive at Jellystone Park and fill us in on all the details.

The gem of the Ozarks, the Current River flows calmly between picturesque bluffs and majestic trees. Thereʼs nothing to fear on this class 1 river, itʼs safe for your whole family. You can float in what you like best, a tube, canoe, raft or kayak. The Landing provides the floating right from our Ranger Station. They will pick you up in front of the Ranger Station and return you there if your float does not end at Jellystone Park. You can get information about the trips they offer at www.eatsleepfloat.com. One of the best ways to float is in a raft, because there is no chance of it flipping over, and you can get out and swim or stay dry in the raft, whichever you prefer. To reserve your canoe, raft or kayak, call The Landing at 573-323-8156. No reservation is needed for tubes. The most poplar trip is to go from Waymeyer to The Landing, with Jellystone Park about in the middle of the five hour float. People like this float, because they can stop at their campsite and rest or eat lunch or restock supplies before continuing on their way.

Make sure to bring your fishing poles! Kids under 16 can enjoy the excellent fishing without needing to buy a license. Anyone over the age of 16 who would like to fish will need to buy a Missouri fishing license. The closest place to buy them is in the town of Van Buren. Some other nearby attractions are the Ozark Trail, Hidden Log Cabin Museum, Big Spring (the worldʼs largest single spring), and many more. Your enjoyment of the natural scenery can only be surpassed by one thing at Jellystone Park. And now, the #1 most fun thing at Jellystone Park is . . .
