Here are some stylish ponytails that will take you straight from work to cocktails in no time at all.

Three Part Ponytail

A three-part ponytail is pretty and totally professional.

Make three tight ponytails - one level with the top of ears, one level with the bottom of ears and one at the nape of your neck.

Lay the top ponytail over the middle ponytail, and wrap a hair elastic around the elastic of the second ponytail to fasten them together.

Finally, take those two ponytails and secure them to the third in the same way.

Done!

Messy Side Ponytail

Comb a deep side part and gather hair into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck, covering the ears.

Wind the elastic around the base of the ponytail, pulling the hair partway through to create a loop or bun on the final twist.

Spray a salt spray onto your fingertips and rub the roots to boost body.

Sleek Side Part Ponytail

Work a volumizer through towel-dried hair.

Blow-dry with a round brush to build volume. Straighten or loosely curl ends.

Comb a part in line with the arch of one eyebrow, and tie hair into a low pony at the nape of your neck.

Wrap hair from the bottom of the ponytail around the elastic band and secure with a bobby pin.

Leave a long fringe to frame the face.

Twisted Ponytail

Comb a slightly off-center part.

Starting on the left side of the part, grab a 2-inch-thick section and roll it away from face, moving downward and gathering strands from your hairline as you go.

Clip the coil at the base of your head, then repeat the roll on the right.

After both sides are fully twisted, remove the clips and secure both rolls together with a hair elastic.

High Beehive Ponytail

Start with straightened hair and separate the front section.

Brush the rest of the hair upwards into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic band.

Section the loose hair and starting from the back section, spray with hairspray and tease for volume.

Repeat until the front section is teased.

Gently comb, fix with hair pins and another elastic, then comb the hair to smooth
