Registration
Become a user by registering at any branch library, presenting any of these valid documents:
the University of Latvia student card,
a personal identification card,
Unified Reader’s Card,
passport or driving licence.
During registration user:
users acquaint themselves with the Library of the University of Latvia regulations and sign to confirm to follow them,
receive their ID numbers and passwords for using Library services online(Union catalog etc.).

Re-registration
The Library of the University of Latvia user registry has to be updated everyacademic year.
Registry can be updated:
electronically LUIS;
personally at any of the branch libraries.
People who have not cleared their obligations to the Library of the University of Latvia or don’t have valid student’s card or personal ID card or Unified Reader’s Card shall not be reregistered.

Use of information resources
Facilities for searching, reservation, ordering and borrowing of information resources via the electronic union catalogue.
Information resources use in the reading room.
Loan;
Night loan - an option to borrow some information resources, only available for use in Library, for home use during Library closing hours.
