What is Virtualizion?Virtualizion is an advanced software technology on which multiple operating systems and applications can run on the same server at the same time.

OverviewServer Virtualizion is the mapping of server resources that includes the identity and number of individual physical servers, operating system and processors, from server users.
It divides one physical server into multiple isolated virtual environment that is also known as virtual private servers, as guests, instances, containers or emulations.
Approaches There are various approaches to server virtualizion. Like:1. The Virtual Machine Model, 2. The Paravirtual Machine Model, 3. Virtualization at the operating system (OS) layer.
Virtual MachineVirtual machines are based on the host/guest paradigm. Each host runs on a virtual imitation of the hardware layer. The host can run his operating system without any modifications.
Under this, the administrator can create guests that use different operating systems.
The Paravirtual MachineThe paravirtual machine (PVM) model is also based on the host/guest paradigm and uses a virtual machine monitor. In the paravirtual machine model, the guest operating system's code is modified by the VMM that is known as porting. Paravirtual machines have the capability to run multiple operating systems.
Virtualizion at the OS levelIn Virtualization at the OS level, single OS kernel is run by the host as its core and exports operating system functionality to each of the guests. It allows an OS-level virtual server to host thousands of guests at the same time by sharing common binaries and libraries on the same physical machine.
