Open Settings (from the Menu) and click on Camera.

From here you can change the default notebook.

I chose to use my 'CRMJournal' notebook.

To connect your LinkedIn account:

- Click on Sign in to LinkedIn

- Enter your LinkedIn email and password.

- Click on Sign in and allow

Return to the main Evernote screen.

Click on the green Plus button and select Camera.

Swipe to the left to select "Business Card".

Line the business card up in your camera viewer and click.

It's very important to have a contrasting background otherwise the card won't be scanned properly.

Check the details,making any necessaryalterations. The phonenumber formattingcan be a bit weird andmay require somecleaning up.

Enter text in the'Notes' section aboutwhere you met theperson etc.

Once happy with theentry click on thegreen Tick button.

You now have 3 - 4options.

I like to add all mycontacts to Google aswell as having theinformation inEvernote so I choosethat option every time.

I don't like the defaultmessage that LinkedInsends to newconnections so I neverchoose that option.

How you know it hasworked

In Evernote you willhave a new entry inyour business cardnotebook.

And if you chose to"Add to Contacts"and/or "Connect onLinkedIn" then theinformation will be inyour Google contactsand you'll have a newconnection onLinkedIn as well.
