Donating to the Less Fortunate

TOYS FOR TOTS

Every year, for the last three years, my

wife, daughter, and myself have donated

to Toys for Tots. So on Black Friday we go

out to stores and find toys that we think

children in need would like.

THE BOUNTY

After stocking up on toys its off to the

donation center. Luckily for us, this

year our leasing office has a donation

box to make it easier for the

neighborhood to make donations.

DONATION CENTER

I enjoy being able to donate to less fortunate

families. It gives me a sense of happiness knowing

that a child, who may not have gotten anything, will

receive some gifts for Christmas. I also use the

experience to teach my daughter that it is always

good to give, especially during the holidays. It also

teaches her to appreciate the things that she has

because there are others who have almost nothing.

A PAIR OF ELVES

Even if we cannot donate a lot during a particular

year, when you see what you have given helping

to fill a bigger box it makes you feel like you are

making a difference. You also see that the rest of

the community has been contributing, and that

there are plenty of other people in the community

that care.
