EmazeI used Emaze 2 or 3 times on my blog. This was because I wanted to use a variety of programmes to make my blog look interesting. Emaze let me create slideshows and posters which was what I wanted to do. However, when using Emaze I found that trying to put a lot of information onto slideshow/poster it meant I had to make the text rather small which meant it was hard to read.

BloggerI used blogger throughout this project as it was a good way of me keeping all my work in one place. This was good as it allowed me to find my work easier and also made it easy when teachers were marking or looking at my work. Blogger is an online website which meant that I could access my blog from school or home which meant that I could still do work at home. Blogger also allowed me to add labels onto my work so that when someone went on my blog they could easily find what they were looking for. This made looking for certain tasks easier.

Time ToastI used Time Toast at the start of my research. I used this site as it was easy for me to present my findings about the history of music videos. It allowed me to present them in chronological order which meant when I looked back at it, it was easy to read.

Slideshare

Prezi was a presentation website that I found myself using a lot throughout the research and planning tasks. This was because it was easy to use and was a different way of creating a slideshow. This is because it didn’t just move from one slide to another it jumped from one to the next. This was good as it was more engaging to people who were viewing it,

Survey MonkeyI used survey monkey so that I could get anonymous feedback from people. The website was easy to use and you got to design your own questionnaire with different question choices e.g multiple choice and comment boxes. After you had made the questionnaire you could embed it onto another website or send to other people to complete. However, you couldn’t add more than 10 questions which means some questions had to be linked together in some way.

In some tasks I used Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations. When I wanted to upload them onto my blog I uploaded it onto slideshare them embedded that onto my blog. This was one of the easiest sites that I used as all you needed to do was upload the PowerPoint onto slideshare and you were done. This meant it was easy for people to read and look at the presentation.

I used photoshop to edit pictures so that I could make a digipak album and a digipak poster. Photoshop has lots of different tools and features that allowed me to edit my pictures and make sure that they were good quality. Another good thing was that I could edit my digipak album and poster to look similar which meant they created synergy. As I have not used photoshop much before I forgot what most of the tools do so it took me a while to get used to it and what everything did.

I MovieI used I movie to edit my footage and make my music video. At first I found I move easy to use as you were just putting your clips in the correct order and making them the correct length. It was easy to use mainly because there was’t much you could do in terms of editing the clip. For example there were a few things e.g making the clip faster/slower, freeze frame, split screen and changing the colour. It also allowed you to fade clips and place one over another. All of these tools were very basic. Later on in the editing stages I realised there were issues. One main issues was trying to match the lip syncing with the music. I realised that everytime I adjusted one clip or added a new clip in most or all of my clips would be out of sync. This meant that a lot of time was spent making sure they were all in time and sync with the music.
