Project Context

l  Public Administrations need to manage increasing complexity and volatility of business processes with continuously reduced available resources and increasing demands on the quality of the outcome

l  This pressing challenge can only be fulfilled if organizations evolve towards a more efficient and flexible way of performing their tasks

A Lane is a sub-partition within a Process →  lanes are used to organize and categorize Activities

→  Lanes are often used for such things as internal roles (eg. Manager, Associate), systems (e.g., an enterprise application),

an internal department (e.g., shipping, finance), etc.

Weaving

Model weaving is frequent in schema integration and evolution, in the context of Learn PAD

→ Weaving enables multi-view modeling → Weaving represents (declarative) semantic

anchorings, i.e. the semantics of a concept in a metamodel can be given in terms of concepts in another

metamodel.
