MANIFESTOThe Asian Youth Assembly 2010 held in Bengaluru, India on 18-19 August 2010brought participants from all over Asia to share their thoughts, experiences, andinitiatives on two central themes – education and ecology. This manifesto drawsfrom the discussions and workshops that put forth the viewpoints of the youth oneducation and ecology as relevant to today’s Asia. This collaborative effort is thecontribution of the youth participants to the fulfillment of various existing universalagreements – Millennium Development Goals, Education for All, Kyoto Protocolamongst others – in order to achieve sustainable and equitable development in theAsian region.
