YOUR WORD LORD

Your Word Lord,it is mighty powerfulit is commandingit is boldly truthful.

It is alive and active,it is full of energyit is razor-sharpfor it pierces inwardly.

Your Word Lord, it cuts to the coreit penetrates the soulshowing all You abhor.

It is always at work,it obliterates the dark it is jolting...for it is raw and stark.

Your Word Lord,

it punctures the heart

it perforates the mindseparates the two part.

It is discerning,it conquers and dividesit sees those who have Its truth living inside.

Your Word Lord,no one must ignore for one day our lives...to You, we’ll account for!

Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom have to do.”

CONFUSED

Sometimes I get confused,With everything I hear... One preacher says I must do thatThe other’s says “that” I should fear.

One says I must have works,The other says by grace aloneStill some say that for my sinsOnly grace with works will atone.

One says once saved always saved,Then I hear some one else say If you want to get to heaven Lordship salvation is the only way.

Some teach I need to be baptized,If God, I ever want to see Some preach it’s not necessaryThat eternity still waits for me.

Sometimes I get confused,I feel tossed to and froBut when I want the real truth... Into my Bible ~ I simply go!

Some people are busy, doing other things

some people can’t see what good it will bring.

Some people understand,if God’s will they’re to know

then into their Bible... they will have to go!

HOW WOULD I KNOW

LORD, I know YOU’RE in control, over everything that I do... but, how would I know thisif I didn’t first seek after YOU.

I know that I can trust YOU,for my every want and needbut, how would I know this if YOUR WORD I didn’t read.

I believe YOU always will, lead and guide my waybut, how would I know thisif I didn’t study my BIBLE every day.

I know YOU’LL shine YOUR LIGHT,anytime darkness comes roundbut, how would I know this if into the WORD I didn’t expound.

The Bible is like a mirror,it reflects yourself, so trueit shows the cardinal manthat is living inside of you

On the surface, it looks nice,so polished and so cleanbut, if you were to read itall your sins would be seen.

The Bible is like a mirror,it reflects what’s in the heartand if you were to study it you’d see every ugly wart.

You’d see every little blemish, every spot and sinful markbut, if you were to apply it you’d no longer be in the dark.

The Bible is like a mirror, His reflection should be in youbut you must study and apply itto your life ~ for this to be true!
