Story of Adam and Eve

According to the Abrahamic religions, Adam and Eve are the first man and woman respectively on the earth.

The story of Adam and eve is the central to the belief that God created the human beings to live in a paradise on earth.

But due to the indisciplinary action they fall away from paradise and started suffering from the present sorrows.

In the book, THE HOLY BIBLE in the chapters one to five there are two creation naratives with two different perspectives

God created ADAM from the dust and placed him in the Garden of Edens

Adam is told that he can till the ground and he can eat fruits from any of those trees but should not get the fruit from THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL

Subsequently, EVE was created as the companion of Adam from one of the Adam’s rib.

Due to serpent ‘s plot Eve was forced to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Eve compelled Adam also to eat it.

God cursed the both for disobeying him.

Mistakes Made by Eve

Trusting serpent than the god

Appearance of greed

Reporting wrong information to the serpent

She is easily convinced by serpent, since she was a woman

Consequence of Adam being first

Adam was the first to the Eden Garden.

Eve was created as the companion of Adam

So , Adam leaded the world…………..

This is one of the reasons for male chauvenistic society

Male dominance in the society

Patriarchy is the system where male holds the primary power.

Domain of the

family

First of all, if you take the virtue of a man, it is easily stated that a man's virtue is this—that he be competent to manage the affairs of his city, and to manage them so as to benefit his friends and harm his enemies, and to take care to avoid suffering harm himself.

Or take a woman's virtue: there is no difficulty in describing it as the duty of ordering the house well, looking after the property indoors, and obeying her husband.[20]

Results if Eve were the first

If Eve were the first in the garden of Eden…..

Then Adam would be her companion

So, Women would be leading than men……

Hence it results in a female dominant society

Where men will be treated in the place of the women……
