Shining Like StarsPhilippians 2:12-28

Building our families by

shining like a star!

How do we shine?

Therefore, my dear friends, as

you have always obeyed--not

only in my presence, but now

much more in my absence--

continue to work out your

salvation with fear and

trembling,

(Phi 2:12)

Consistent spiritual

work-out leads to

spiritual health.

for it is God who works in you

to will and to act in order to fulfill his good

purpose.

(Phi 2:13)

How do we shine?

God supplies the will and

ability for us to be able to

say: Yes Lord!”

14…without grumbling or arguing,

15 …become blamelessand pure…

16 as you hold firmly to the Word of life.

(Phi 2:14-16)

How do we shine?

Hold firmly to the

WORD in order to

overcome the WORLD.

…I did not run or labor in vain.

17…I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and

rejoice with me.

(Phi 2:16-18)

How do we shine?

He who REJOICE in the

Lord can overcome any

obstacles!

Four Rules:

1.Strive to be Spiritually

Healthy

2.Submit to God’s purpose

3.Surrender to God’s Word

4.Rejoice
