The Feast of Tabernacles (fixed appointed Times)

28th SEPTEMBER --- 4th October2017

Lev 23:33

Speak to the children of Y’Ishra’uwl, saying

‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh new month ( not moon )is the Festival of Sukkot (booths) for

seven days to Y-ah

Page 2: The feast of Tabernacles (booths, sukkot)

‘On the first day is a set-apart gathering,

you do no servile work.

‘For seven days, you bring an offering made by fire to Ya-h.

Please notice this is a feast for Seven days on the First day of the month it’s a set apart

gathering:

stop

This is the 6th fixed appointment days/ feasts of Ya-h and there is still one more to come, that is

not in the seventh day, to many calculate the last day has part of Tabernacles but when read

properly the eighth day is separate

Continue

Lev 23:36

On the eighth day, there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an offering

made by fire to Y-ahh. It is a closing festival, you do no servile work.

These are the appointed times of Ya-hh which you proclaim as set-apart gatherings,

So the feast days of Ya-hh are (according to scripture)

Passover

Unleavened Bread

Pentekoste

Trumpets

Atonement

Tabernacles

Last Great Day

Lev 23:39-44

On the fifteenth day of the seventh new month, when you gather in the fruit ( children of Y’Ishra’uwl) of

the land (Dis 18:4), celebrate the festival of Ya-hh for seven days. On the first day is a rest, and on

the eighth day a rest. 40 ‘And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of good

trees, branches of palm trees, twigs of leafy trees, and willows of the stream, and shall rejoice

before Ya-hh your Almighty for seven days. 41 ‘And you shall celebrate it as a festival to Ya-

hhfor seven days in the year – a law forever in your generations. Celebrate it in the seventh

new month. 42 ‘Dwell in booths for seven days; all who are native born (Bber 12:49) in Y’Ishra’uwl

dwell in booths, 43 so that your generations know that I made the children of Y’Ishra’uwl dwell

in booths when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim. I am Ya-hh your Almighty.’ ”

44 Thus did Mosheh speak of the appointed times of Ya-hh to the children of Y’Ishra’uwl.

How good are your tents (tabernacles), O Ya‛aqoḇ, your dwellings, O Y’Ishra‘uwl!

That is the comandments for the Feast of Tabernacles, the special significant of these days is

shown in observing the days, according to the commandment of Mosheh, on the Sabbaths, and

on the new months, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of

unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles. Three times in a

year shall all thy males appear before the Ya-hh your Almighty in the place which he shall

choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of

tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Almighty empty

The importance of which is here

Deu_31:10

And Mosheh commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the

year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,

Tabernacles is the tent we call our bodies, that house the spirit of Ya-hh within, upon

repentance, through belief and the physical act of immersion, we are given the spirit of Ya-hh

through the laying on of hands, and become part of Y’Ishra’uwl, the nation ( 1 Kĕpha 2;9) chosen by

Y-ahh

Iyob 11:14

if iniquity (unrighteousness) were in your hand, put it far away and do not let perverseness dwell in

your Tabernacles (Body);

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that

publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; For whosoever

shall call upon the name of the Yahuah shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom

they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and

how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it

is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad

tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Y-ah, who hath

believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of Y-ah.

The assured blessing of repentance

If you would prepare your heart, and stretch out your hands toward Him; if iniquity

(unrighteousness) were in your hand, put it far away and do not let perverseness dwell in your

tabernacle (body); then indeed you shall lift up your face without spot; and you shall stand firm,

Page 4: The feast of Tabernacles (booths, sukkot)

and not be afraid, because you would forget sorrow, and remember it as waters that have

passed away, and your life would be brighter than noon. You would soar upward, you would be

like the morning. And you shall trust, because there is expectancy. And when you have

searched you shall lie down in safety. And you shall rest, and no one would make you afraid,

and many shall seek your favour. But the eyes of the wrong are consumed, and they shall not

escape, and their expectancy is the breathing out of l ife!”

A warning to those would believe there riches will save them

The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke Ya-hare secure; into whose hand Ya-

h bringeth abundantly. For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall

consume the tabernacles of bribery. They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their

belly prepareth deceit

return to the Almighty ( keep the feast)

If thou return to the Almighty, he shalt build you up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy

tabernacles and Ya-hh will send out His light and His truth: and lead you; and bring you unto His

Sacred hill, and to HIs tabernacle. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city

of Y-ah, the Scared place of the tabernacles of the Highest.

How lovely are Your dwelling (Tabernacle) places, O Ya-hh of hosts! The voice of rejoicing and

salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Almighty doeth valiantly

We will go into his tabernacles: we will worth-ship at his footstool. But I am Ya-hh your

Almighty since the land of Mitsrayim, again I shall make you dwell in tabernacles as in the days

of the appointed time

There shall be a punishment of those who do not observe the appointed times

This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to

keep the feast of tabernacles. nd it shall be that all who are left from all the nations which came

up against Yerushalayim, shall go up from year to year to bow themselves to the Sovereign, Ya-

hh of hosts, and to celebrate the Festival of Sukkot.. 17 And it shall be, that if anyone of the

clans of the earth does not come up to Yerushalayim to bow himself to the Sovereign, Ya-hh of

hosts, on them there is to be no rain.

False worship of Y’Ishra’el and YehuwDah have led to being kept in the dark

Yehudah has acted treacherously, and an abomination has been done in Yisra’ĕl and in

Yahrushaliiyim, for Yehudah has profaned what is set-apart to Y–ahh which He had loved – and

has married the daughter of a foreign mighty one.

Page 5: The feast of Tabernacles (booths, sukkot)

It is by FAITH (belief)

By belief, he sojourned in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Yitsḥaq and

Ya‛aqoḇ, the heirs with him of the same promise,
