Trend in Tithe in SID

When tithe received across the SID in 2010 is compared to tithe received in 2013,

there is an increase of approximately 34 %

When the systematic offering collected in local churches across the SID in 2010 is compared to the systematic offerings collected in 2013, there is an

increase of approximately 102 %

Mainstreaming of Stewardship

We are committed to bring the stewardship message to everyone in the Church by partnering with the various existing ministries, activities and leaders.

Expected OutcomesMainstreaming of

Stewardship1. Adventurers have completed

the Wise Steward Award and Pathfinders the Stewardship Honor.

2.  Families have acquired a stewardship storybook for children.

3. Newly baptized are enrolled in the 1 year discipleship class Fishers of men Class, Ex. In Step with Jesus 4. Church leaders have taken a certification program as stewardship educators..

Stewardship5. Once every quarter a stewardship related sermon be preached in all churches.

6. All churches are involved in an intensive discipleship emphasis every year or every two years, Ex. Using the Step to Discipleship Kit/ 7 Weeks Spiritual Journey.

7. Easy access to stewardship material for everyone who is interested.

Building Trust

Though our call to faithful stewardship is grounded on theological reasons, we will help Church leaders to create a trustworthy atmosphere that is conducive to faithfulness.

1. Church leaders are exposed to the basic concepts about Building Trust; Integrity, Intent, Competency, Result.

2. Church leaders have followed the training on Transparency and Accountability in regard to Church Fund’s Management.

3.  Local churches are functioning with an annual budget.

4. Regular communication about church finances are provided to members throughout the year.

and what we have presently.

However, the faithful steward is

expected to grow. We are

committed to facilitate the growing

process by equipping the members

with basic life skills.
