We have provided a letter confirming you are volunteering for a non-profit organization in order for the $30 processing fee to be waived. Take this letter with you when you go! Negative response letters will be mailed to you directly please bring this letter to the volunteer rally. In order to ensure that you will receive your response in time for the rally, please complete the form at the Regina Police Station by October 25. Those residing outside the City of Regina are required to consult their local City Police Service or RCMP Detachment for criminal record check information and procedures. Once you receive your negative response letter, please email or mail a copy to our office if you are unable to attend the rally.

All volunteers are required to have a criminal record check completed by the Regina Police Service. All volunteers must complete the form in person at the Regina Police Station, 1717 Osler St. You will be required to provide two pieces of government issued identification. Meet Shannon England, Vice-Chair of Hosting

Shannon has a long volunteer history in Regina! He served as Director of Team Services in both the 2006

Brier and 2008 Scotties. In addition to being a

committee member of the Regina Scott Legacy Foundation and the CTV Sandra Schmirler Charity Golf

Classic, he is a Director with the Sandra Schmirler Foundation.

Shannon is a competitive curler, having participated in seven Southern Men’s Championships, 2 Provincial

Men’s Championships and was the Provincial Mixed Runner-up in 1995. He is an avid golfer as well.

Born in Moose Jaw, Shannon currently resides in Regina with his daughters, Sara and Jenna. He is an Information

Technology Director at the University of Regina.

Shannon is happy to be serving as Vice-Chair of Hosting

and feels the 2011 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship could be Regina’s best-ever event!
