Following the announcement of the 6th Barclay’s Asia Trophy, (the BAT) we thought it would be intriguing to see how the participating teams match up off the pitch, in the tough online world of Chinese social media. Now an established part of the Premier League’s fixture calendar, the Barclays Asia Trophy is a biennial tournament and the only Premier League-affiliated competition to be held outside England. This years Trophy will be attended by Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Spurs official Chinese partner club, South China FC.
