MY BIOGRAPHY ON DICK BUTKUS

Birth and Early Life

Dick was born on December 9th, 1942. Dick decided that he wanted

to play football in 5th grade. He lived on Chicago’s south side.

Adolescence/Adulthood

Dick Butkus went to the University of Illinois.

He played for the Bears. He won Defensive Player of the Year.

Accomplishments

He won a Rose Bowl. He was awarded NFL’s Rookie

of the Year. He was a Hall of Famer.
