I am a Canadian Elite Downhill Mountain Bike racer from the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia. I compete internationally in World Cup and Canada Cup events.

I have worked my way up through the ranks to become one of Canada’s top contending downhill racers.

Plans for 2015! I will be racing a full World Cup and Canada Cup schedule in 2015. This includes seven World Cup rounds across Europe and North America, and two-three Canada Cup rounds. I will also be attending various other local and international Downhill/Enduro events including Crankworx and select BC Enduro races.

My goals for the 2015 season are to consistently place in the top 30 at all of the World Cup events and seek the top step of the podium at National races. I am looking to solidify myself as one of Canada’s top gravity racers and pursue a sustainable career in this exciting and ever-growing discipline.

Why am I contacting you? I am seeking an opportunity to partner with a company that would be willing to support me with product and financially throughout the 2015 racing season. As a professional well-rounded representative on the international racing scene, I can offer you great exposure, promoting your product by way of videos, photos, social media, and logos on my jersey/helmet. I can also provide testing/ feedback on product performance.

My projected costs for flights/accommodation/on-ground transportation for my 2015 race season is $15,000. I work throughout the winter in order to fund my racing, although it is a constant challenge balancing working and training. To have financial/product assistance would give me the opportunity to focus more of my efforts towards training and allow me to be the best I can be come race day.

A little about me My passion for riding, along with my constant desire to challenge myself, has lead me to pursue a career in downhill racing.

I enjoy all aspects of being a elite level athlete. I am motivated to keep progressing and pushing my limits not only by my ambitions in racing, but also the experiences and opportunities that racing offers me. I love traveling, training and riding new tracks across the globe.

I take a interest in the science and methods behind my training. I receive guidance from a mountain bike specific trainer to design a program that addresses my weaknesses and prepares me to stay strong and injury free throughout the season. I constantly search for ways to improve my skills, from riding motocross to dirt jumping to countless hours on my cross-country bike, I try to be as well rounded as possible.

Being a privateer racer on the World Cup circuit I have learned how to be self sufficient. I believe that being my own manager, mechanic and trainer I have a greater understanding and appreciation for what it takes to be a top downhill racer.
