How to Add a Chapter Leader
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:There are two placed to add a new Chapter Leader, Internal Applications and Banner. This tutorial will cover both.
Internal Applications Add (Chapter Page)
Visit the Alumni Relations Internal Applications Page1. Go tohttp://apps.alumni.mtu.edu/internal/
Click on Chapters
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:2. Click on Create Contact
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:3. Enter in contacts information•Look up class year and put on then end of last name•Only add required fields (First Name, Last Name, Email Address)•Select Location (assigned Chapter)•Click Submit
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:4. Approve new Chapter Leader•Find chapter leader in contact list and click on•Select YES from drop down menu in Is Active•Click Submit
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:5. Verify new Chapter Leader•Visit http://alumni.mtu.edu/chapters •Find chapter in menu or map, click•Verify name and email address of new contact
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:
Add to Banner 1. Open Banner software and
log-in
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:Add to Banner 2. Input APAACTY and hit enter
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:Add to Banner 3. Input name or M# of alumni•Click on the first open box next to Activity
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:Add to Banner 4. Enter ACHAP in newest open activity box. Hit tab, enter Chapter name in comment box
Add a Chapter LeaderSteps:Add to Banner 5. Click the SAVE icon in the top left corner
You Have Now Successfully Added a Chapter Leader
