Valuev’s achievements• In 1999, in St. Petersburg, in the fight against Alexey

Osokin Nikolay Valuev won the title of champion of Russia among professionals.

• In 2000 Nikolay Valuev in a fight against the Ukrainian Yuri Elistratov won the title Pan-Asian Boxing Association (PABA), in the heavyweight division.

• In 2004 Nikolay Valuev took the fight against Nigerian Richard Bango and won the Intercontinental Championship in the professional version WBA. Later, Nikolay defended the title four times.

• During his career, Nikolay Valuev won 50 fights out of 53!

• Because of health problems in 2009 Valuev announced his retirement but he continued to have an active lifestyle!

coaches, created "Nikolay Valuev Boxing School" in St. Petersburg.

• In 2011, Valuev became the General Manager of The Russian national bandy team.

• In 2011 he was elected a deputy of the State Duma of the party "United Russia“.

• In 2013 he is a leader of Fort Boyard game.

• On 13 September 2010 the Internet has opened a new site of the Fund Nikolay Valuev. The Fund was established to promote regular exercise among young people to be able to play sports for children of different social classes
