Publicising & Promoting Your ClubWe would like as many clubs as possible to become part of the South Yorkshire Network of Clubs. This enables clubs to receive regular information and access to the support services clubs want and need

Club Support Organisations
Save time, access funding, attract more members for FREE! – Involved in running a club, team or an event - Sign up as a Network Member – Sign up as an Official Partner if you’re responsible for supporting a number of
clubs in your area or sport
The scheme distinguishes between clubs and businesses for rates and tax purposes, ensuring money is kept in sports clubs.
– Relief on business rates alone are estimated by the Chancellor of the Exchequer to be worth £2,000 per year.
– Whilst this only benefits facility owning clubs, non-facility owning clubs can still significantly benefit from Gift Aid and exemption from Corporation Tax.
– According to leading sports business advisers Deloitte, an estimated £60 million per year is lost by sports clubs not registered as CASCs.

Funding SupportSouth Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau supports voluntary
and community organisations to get the resources they need. They provide advice, information and training to help SY organisations become more confident and self-reliant in fundraising.
Services include:– Search for possible funders using the Funding Search website. They have also
produced a Guide to the Funding Search website to help you get started.– Direct advice and support from SYFAB's Development Team.– Improve your fundraising skills and knowledge using the set of

CLUBMARK Accreditation
Clubs that encourage young people to take-up sport, improve their talents, possibly play a leadership role and give them the option to initiate and maintain life-long participation in sport is an essential part of supporting the sporting infrastructure in England.
