But those of us who love football know that inside this great game lies an even Greater Game; a game anchored in values and character that brings people together, to make not just teams, but whole communities stronger. Because you are part of a team and ten other guys rely on you every time you step on the field. That is how football forges character. Our mission is simple: to champion the greater game and support the coaches who make that possible. Simply put, we need to start a movement. Starting this Fall, thegreatergame.org will be a forum for the entire football community: players, parents and coaches. We will inspire players, reaching them where they live on social media. We will assure parents, reinforcing football’s positive impact and how it can shape their sons into better adults. And mostly, we will support coaches, who are the most powerful influencers in teaching The Greater Game. We can’t wait to get started.
