Kayler has extensive experience in the AEC industry, having served as marketing director for a 75-person environmental/civil engineering firm, as well as an international 200-person full-service engineering/architecture firm. With a journalism degree from the University of Arizona, she also has experience as an account executive for an advertising/marketing communications agency. She started Constructive Communication, Inc. (CCI) – a certified Women’s Business Enterprise - in 2001 to serve the needs of technical and professional service firms. CCI serves as marketing counsel for the Tilt-Up Concrete Association, Post-Tensioning Institute, International Grooving & Grinding Association, Concrete Foundations Association, Concrete Industry Management program, American Plastics Council and the American Concrete Institute, as well as a variety of architecture, engineering, construction, product supplier and other firms in the AEC industry.

The first to earn the CPSM designation in Ohio, Kayler is the author of more than 1,250 articles and is a registered provider on a variety of marketing topics with the American Institute of Architects. She serves in a public relations capacity for the Construction Specifications Institute Columbus chapter and also holds board positions on the Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Dublin Foundation, and the Columbus Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council. She is a volunteer with the Junior Achievement program as well as manager of the Mite Rangers CCYHA youth hockey team.

As an expert in online social media and public relations, Stephanie is able to incorporate and train members of the AEC industry about the intricacies of online social media and how it can be a beneficial tool in a strategic marketing plan. Her experience includes a variety of social media venues including developing Wikipedia pages and online forums for sharing to training clients on how to integrate social media into B2B as well as their PR programs. She is well versed in online social media and understands each outlet, how to succeed with the medium as well as how to write policies for companies.

Stephanie graduated from Xavier University with a B.A. in Communications, Public Relations. While at Xavier, Stephanie served as president of the Public Relations Student Society of America. She is a member of SMPS and is the author of many articles about social media including a column in Concrete Monthly magazine.

A 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, he received his B.A., summa cum laude, with honors, from the University of Dayton in 2000. Chris joined Calfee in 2003, and now focuses on representing clients on various environmental and regulatory issues. He provides clients with counsel on matters of environmental compliance, proposed rules changes, business strategies and objectives for dealing with environmental regulations and agencies. Additionally, Chris represents clients in permit appeals and environmental enforcement proceedings, as well as environmental contractual tort and statutory claims litigation.

Trained as a litigator, Chris also appears in federal and state courts on behalf of clients involved in a variety of commercial contract disputes, trade secret and non-compete claims, and employment and ERISA issues. He further represents Ohio employers on workers’ compensation injuries and occupational diseases in administrative hearings before the Ohio Industrial Commission and in litigation before state courts.

Chris is active as a member of the development committees of KidsVoting Central Ohio and the Friends of the Columbus Zoo, as well as a volunteer for the Central Ohio Diabetes Association and St. Brendan’s Parish.

Scott Kasun is the Founder and President of ForeFront Web, a web development firm consistently ranked by Business First in the top twenty in Central Ohio. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing with 10 of those years spent in web design/development. Forefront Web, a five-person team, is a member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and the Sunbury Chamber of Commerce.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Franklin University with a degree in Management and Marketing, Scott has always had a love of computers as his father was a computer engineer and taught him the basics as a child. Scott began his career with computers in 1993, building his first website in 1997. He has been in the industry since. His company, with more than 300 active clients, offers website design/development and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in addition to developing strategy and campaigns for online social media.

Scott has had many speaking engagements on topics including web design, web marketing, SEO and social marketing. He serves on the board of directors for Edheads.org, an award winning site offering online activities that draws more than one million visitors per month. He is also a board member on Technology for Ohio’s Tomorrow (tech4ohio.org). Scott spends his free time as a football and volleyball coach for his children’s sports teams, and has also been scuba diving for over 20 years.
