RICO CNC Router Machine Configuration
1. Machine Frame: Our machine frame making way as follows:
We weld the machine frame, then vibrating stress relief(VSR) to reduce residual stress, then sand blast and
polish the machine frame, and then pickling phosphating, then anti-static plastic coating, and then put
frame into heat oven baking the paint, oven temperature is 130 degree.
Box type data:
Gantry support thickness 12mm
Gantry thickness 6mm
Square Steel Tube thickness 6mm
Bakelite thickness 25mm
Rack thickness 25mm

2. Machine worktable:

The frequency inverter controls the spindles rotating speed (rpm), so the inverter ’s power should be
matched with the spindle power. Usually, the inverter ’s power ≥ the spindle power.
1.5kw spindle use 1.5kw inverter, 2.2kw spindle use 2.2kw inverter, 3.0 or 3.5kw spindle use 3.7kw inverter
4.5kw spindle use 5.5kw inverter, 6kw or 7kw spindle use 7.5kw inverter, 9kw spindle use 11kw inverter,
13.5kw spindle use 18.5kw inverter
Spindle power within 3.5kw, you can choose to use 220v single phase
Spindle power over 3.5kw, like 4.5kw, you have to choose 3 phase voltage (220V, 380V, 400V, 415V etc)

5. Motor and Driver:
Servo System: Japanese Yaskawa or Taiwan Delta Servo motor and driver
Easy Servo System: China Leadshine or Yako hybrid servo motor and driver

6. Control System:
DSP controller: Handheld control system with USB interface.
PCI NC-studio: support desktop computer, windowsXP, Win7
Taiwan Synetc system: 6MA, 6MB are supplied.
When use a DSP control system, you can make the design files on your computer in your office, then copy it
into a U disk. Then connect the U disk to the DSP control system via the USB interface, and load the design
files to the DSP control system.
The DSP control can work offline, and it is very easy to operate. Good for single head cnc router control.
Disadvantage is only has 512M memory space, and slower computing capacity.

When use a Nc studio control system, you can control the machine through the computer. It is more
feasible.
And you have no needs to worry about the memory space and computing capacity, because you use a
computer. It is good for big file working, like long time relief carving, simple auto tool changer working.
But you have to use a computer to backup the machine.
Taiwan Syntec system PC-based controller
When use a Syntec control system, you can make the design files on your computer in your office, then copy
it into a USB. Then connect the USB to the Syntec control system via the interface. Also you can load the
design files from a computer via a net cable.
The Syntec control system can control complex processing route well and you can design some simple
processing route on the control system without computer.
It is good for auto tool changer cnc router and 4 axis cnc router.
However, it is a little expensive.

7. Guide Rails & Ballscrew & Rack and Pinions:
Germany Schaeffler INA, Taiwan Hiwin and Japanese THK linear guide Rail and blocks 20, 25, 30 MM.
Germany Alexander Ball screw and Taiwan TBI ball screw (2505, 3205)
Germany Herion helical rack and pinions and China high quality helical rack and pinions

8. Control Cabinets:
European IEC standard wiring.
Galvanized steel plate can also defend the electromagnetic interference.
DSP control cabinets NC Studio PCI control cabinets Syntec control cabinets
Also have this side-hang or front combined
type control cabinet to save space.
Good for limited workshop space.

9. Limit Stop:
For the CNC Router, there are 3 limit stop methods, hard block limit stop, Electro-optical limit sensor and
limited working area set in the control system.
Hard limit stop for X, Y axis.
Electro-optical limit stop for X, Y, Z axis. (Japan Omron limit switch)
10. Oil lubrication system:
There are manual oil lubrication pump and auto oil lubrication pump for cnc router.

11. Emergency stop switch:
When you press it, machine will stop within 1 second.

12. Transmission device:
Gear Box: Synchronous belt and synchronous wheel for X, Y, Z axis (for small machine)
Taiwan APEX or Japan Shimpo Planetary Gear Reducer for X Y axis, couple for Z axis (for big machine)
Synchronous belt and synchronous wheel, great performance for small and middle size machine

13. Vacuum pump:
Vacuum pump 5.5kw and 7.5kw, all need 3 phase voltage input.

14. Dust Collect System:
Dust collect system include the dust collector, dust shoe cover, dust pipe, steel tube stands, hooks etc

15. Mist Cooling System:
Mist cooling system is used for cooling tools.
Some time just use the compressor air to blow the cutter bits also can cool the cutter bit.
16. Auto Tool Changer Tool Magazine:
ISO30 and HSK63F tool holders and tool clips widely used with ATC cnc router machines.

18. Rotary Axis:
4th rotary axis is optional to add, 150mm, 200mm, 300mm diameter.
Usually have two types rotary axis for choose: fixed type and movable type.
Fixed type cnc router with rotary axis
If usually need to use rotary axis, this fixed rotary axis recommended.
