● The laptop is like a portable computer that is starting to be more common.

● It allows people to use it anywhere providing they have enough battery life.

● Like the computer, there are different builds for the laptop such as gaming, however there are a large variety of sorts such as Alienware laptops.

● The biggest problem with a laptop is that it can overheat if used exessively but more modern laptops are preventing this problem.

● The tablet has become a revolutionary step forward in technology.

● Most tablets now use a touch screen as an interface.

● The most common tablet used today is the Apple iPad or iPad 2.

● There is now more and more tablets being released as they now become more popular for their portability.

● The games console has become very popular since the time it was first invented, especially with the adults/teenagers.

● They main purpose of a games console is to play video games, but modern games console can allow media and internet usage.

● You can play with your friends online or just chat with them.

● There are different kinds of games consoles, the most popular being the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the Wii.

● Modern smartphones can use the internet or Wi-Fi and also play games or as they are also known as "Apps".

● The PDA stands for Personal Digital Assistant.

● It's purpose is to go on the internet as a mobile standard.

● It is quite an old peice of tech and not many people use it as it is being taken over by the more popular smartphones and tablets.

● Some people today could say that the PDA has transferred onto the smartphones.

● The base unit is the main thing that powers and runs a computer.

● It is the case that houses the main components that help run the computer.

● Some cases are different to others but they all connect to the desktop computer.
